The exhibition of the Polish industrial design “Designed in Poland” opened in Minsk on December 1st.
The Belarusian edition of the exhibition was organised in the Trade Union House of Culture at the 25 Prospekt Niezawisimosti Str. The exhibition was organised by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency in co-operation with the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Minsk.
The exhibition showcases products designed by leading Polish designers. Among the exhibits there are: jewellery, articles made of amber and black oak, porcelain, ceramics, glass art and utility, carpets, interior decoration items, items of everyday use. Presented objects are not only of high quality but also show modern design and combine it with tradition. The aim of the exhibition is to draw attention and promote the Polish jewellery art.
The exhibition will be opened between December 2nd - 11th every day from 11 to 19. Official opening of the event took place on December 1st. The idea of the exhibition dates back to 2005.
The exhibition visited 11 cities all around the world. The first of the series of exhibitions took place in Berlin and was later on presented also in Hamburg, Helsinki, New Delhi, Mumbai, Munich, Geneva, Copenhagen, Madrid, Karlovy Vary and Astana.
